Calendra: Privacy Policy
Effective date: 10 October 2026 · Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains what the Calendra app for Android ("Calendra", "the app") does with information. Calendra is published by QubitSofTech ("we", "us"). If anything here is unclear, write to support@qubitsoftech.com.
1. The short version
Calendra does not upload your plans, notes or health data. There is no account and no sign-in. Everything you enter is stored on your device, encrypted. The app uses the internet only to show ads from Google AdMob and, if you turn it on, to fetch "On this day" events from Wikipedia. Neither of these sees your calendar, plans or health data.
2. Information we collect
We, QubitSofTech, do not collect any personal information through the app. We receive no usage statistics, crash reports, location, contacts or calendar data. The app contains no analytics service. If you email us, we receive only what you choose to send.
3. Information stored on your device
- Your tasks, reminders, birthdays, countdowns, notes and imported calendar files.
- Your settings, such as your chosen calendars, Panchang city, zodiac sign and language.
- If you turn on Health: cycle and period records, medications, sleep, workouts and habits.
This data is stored in the app's private, encrypted storage. It is removed when you delete it in the app, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. Backups are created only when you ask for one, are encrypted, and are saved where you choose.
4. Health information
Health features are off until you turn them on. Health data never leaves your device, is never shared with us, with advertisers or with anyone else, and is never used for advertising. Ads are never shown on Health screens. Calendra is not a medical device and its cycle predictions must not be used for contraception or diagnosis.
5. Permissions
- Notifications, exact alarms and start at boot: to ring your reminders on time, including after a restart.
- Biometric: for the optional app lock. Your fingerprint is handled by Android and never reaches the app.
- Read calendar (optional): only if you choose to show your device calendars inside Calendra. These events are read on the device and are never copied off it.
- Internet and network state: for ads and the optional Wikipedia feature.
6. Advertising
Calendra is free and shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, and information about ad interactions, and process them under Google's Privacy Policy. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later in Settings. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
7. Wikipedia "On this day" (optional)
If you turn on "On this day", the app requests that day's events from the Wikimedia API (api.wikimedia.org). The request contains only the date and your language; it is subject to the Wikimedia Foundation Privacy Policy.
8. Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal information. Information leaves the app only through the advertising and optional Wikipedia features described above, or when you choose to share or export something yourself.
9. Children
Calendra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Security
Data on your device is encrypted, and you can protect the app with a fingerprint or PIN lock. Connections made by the ads and Wikipedia features use HTTPS.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
